Hello everyone,
I am new to ICEM CFD and needed help regarding my problem. I have a simple geometry of a cuboid with a cylinderical pipe inside it. The geometry is attached. I was able to generate the block structure, varied the node variation and form a pre-mesh of the grid. The pre-mesh diagram is also attached. I saved the unstructured mesh, set my boundary conditions (assigining separate zone ID for each surface) and exported the mesh in the format *.msh. Upon loading it in Fluent, it does not show the zone of the cylindrical pipe surface. I even tried set the boundary condition of the pipe to wall, but the same problem occured. I think the problem is in the unstructured mesh (pic2), as it does not show the surface mesh of the inner pipe. I tried to look for the option to pre-mesh it by parts but wasn't able to find it. I request you to please help me in this regard. I tried searching the forum for the problem, but couldn't find any solution. Thanks Rohit |
