Hey, i'm trying to mesh a Pipe with 6 injectors. The big injector ring will be put in the big pipe.
How do I mesh the 6 inlets and merge them with the big mesh of the pipe? How is the strategy. I don't know how to proceed with the inlets. Thanks for your help http://666kb.com/i/cehm0dwlsjgjl7adm.jpg |

cut out the sectors (one segment per inlet, 60deg each), cut 2x circumferential (r=50% and r=75%, with r being your local radius, and the inlet @ 62,5%) and add a ogrid around each inlet.
supposing your want to have a hex-mesh. you can also just block one segment and create multiple copies (saves time, since all the settings a copied from master-->copy automatically) |
