Hai, thanks for your time... im using ansys fluent 14.0 to simulate heat exchanger and wanted to use dual cell model..
According to the ansys user manual.. If the mesh file does not already contain overlapping heat exchanger cores for primary and auxiliary fluids, then you must create a duplicate of the zone that represents the core using the following text command: mesh → modify-zones → copy-move-cell-zone You will then be prompted to enter the ID of the zone you want to copy, and either the distance for translation in each of the axes or the rotational angle, origin, and axis. & when i try >mesh → modify-zones → copy-move-cell-zone modify-zones/: Enter the modify zones menu. ?: Enable help mode. Type "q" to return to command mode invalid command [copy-move-cell-zone] /mesh> 13 invalid command [13] i dont know where`s my mistake. i really don`t have any idea, how to respond the command. can anyone please help me with this...?? is there any other ways to create overlapping zone?? |

it work for me.
I have another problem with, dual cell. I can't initialize solution as I get something like this: "Unassigned interface zone detected for interface 34". In fact I get several such warnings. I don't know what to do. Mesh Interface tool allows only to connect pairs of interfaces. The rest is still on and is blocking Solution Initilization. What shell I do? |
