Dear ANSYS Users,
When I go through the ICEM CFD Tutorial Manual on the section of 'Tetra/Prism Mesh Generation for an Aorta'. In Step 3: Generating the Octree Mesh, I don't understand the rationale for measuring the smallest diameter on the aorta geometry though it is stated in the manual as it is needed for the setting of the minimum size for the mesh. I do not find any entry of the measurement (i.e. 1.5 as the example in the manual) in the subsequent steps of the meshing process. Can any experienced ICEM user guide me through the process of this manual? I find it quite confusing and difficult. Thanks! Vincent |
