hi
I´m trying to mesh a volume in Gambit.my geometry consist a big turbine with 3 blades and 1 hub which are surrounding by a cylindrical volume.I had subtracted the turbine of the cylindrical volume and I´m trying to mesh this volume using volume mesh tetrahedral size 5000. but I keep getting this message of error: "Error: Assertion failed in RefVolume.cc, line 6059: found_1 && found_2 while meshing v_volume.5." and when I reduce the size into 2000 I keep getting this error: "Initialization failed, perturb boundary nodes and try again. ERROR: TG_Mesh_Domain failed with error code 1 ERROR: Tetrahedral meshing has failed for volume volume.5 This is usually cause by problems in the face meshes Check the skewness of the face meshes and check that the face mesh sizes are not too large in the areas of small gaps." would you please help me?? For sure you have small entites, which are not suitable with your element size.
Check where are those small features and check how big they are. This info will give you some size info on those surfaces, and then you will have to use size function for meshing your volume
