I need your expertise for my case, I have airflow in an annular space between outer and inner pipe with sudden expansion (inner pipe solid and one part heated and second part unheated. I have problem with interior part for meshing thus as I make blocking for each part and meshing then the interior part remain without mesh. Please can you solve this problem and export the mesh to fluent because some time the fluent give me error such as non-positive volume. Please find the attach file with ICEM
I will appreciate your help and looking forward receiving your communications Thanking you |

Hey
You really need mesh in interior (and please don't use the word which is already reserved for some other purpose, it makes confusion ) If you give it boundary (wall) your flow will not flow from this boundary, or if you give it as inlet or outlet it will be mathematically wrong. Trick is " associate face to surface" I also want to know do you need inside the solid part? Otherwise mesh is perfectly fine. |
