Hi All,
I am using ICEM to generate the unstructured mesh, and the density box is used to refined the local mesh distributions. In my case, I use several neighboring density box to distinguish the different flow features. But I found that the transition between these boxes are not very smooth. The interface is very sharp. Does anybody know how to make the transition between different density boxed more natural and smooth? Thank you so much! H |

assuming that ICEM will always take the box with the smallest elements, why don't you just create a third box with your desired transition size that overlaps the two other boxes?
