Hey everyone,

would anyone have an idea on how i could get a good mesh if the big main pipe contains several o grids, some of them very small (smaller than the pipe coming in from the side)?

I am trying to mesh a vertical gravity separator which is basically a big pipe (separator body) with one small pipe reaching into it axially(inlet), one small pipe attached axially on the other end (outlet clean) and one pipe attached to the side radially (brine outlet).
I managed to get a decent mesh for the vertical parts by creating a number of o-grids all the way through the geometry. however i can't manage to join the part of the radial outlet without messing it up.

I have been fighting with this for a while now and can not find any solution...

I have attached a picture of what the blocking for the main part looks like.

That block coming in from the side shall represent the axial outlet but i can not fix it in a way to produce a good mesh...

I am happy to provide more info or files if somebody would have an idea and be willing to help.

Thanks!

while creating the mid side node, icem is taking a lot of time.
my element count is around 6 million and node before mid side node conversion is 2 lacs.

can anyone please tell me why it is taking so much time (around 12 hrs)?
and is there any oyher way to do this.

Thanks
