Solid to Solid Interface Issue

Hi,
My geometry incorporates a solid portion encased in another solid portion with a fluid tube in the centre. I set up this model in the design modeler and then after meshing the structure FLUENT I only get one solid in the cell zone boundaries section (the fluid) and I get: Note: zone-surface: cannot create surface from sliding interface zone. Creating empty surface. I believe the problem lies in the meshing component. Has anyone here run into something similar or do any of you have any ideas? Thanks Chris Cvetkovski |

can you share some pictures... if you want two different solid, slice your geometry in designmodeler... form new part, them mesh it. try it hope it will work, i'll get back with more links for similar thread...
