Probems in Gambit: trouble linking two faces when a boundary layer is applied

Hello,
I'm modelling flow over a cell and have created a box above it so I am basically dealing with a cube. I have used GAMBIT's boundary layer settings to create a boundary layer at the bottom of this cube. I then go to link two sides of the cube, their faces, as I want to apply a periodic boundary condition to it. However as the boundary layer is on the bottom if these two faces I am not allowed to link them and get this error; "boundary layer b_layer.1 already attached to the edge.1:face.2 pair. This must be removed before attaching other boundary layers." Is it possible to both have the boundary layer on a face as well as having it linked? Any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you very much! Kathryn |

hi -
I think if you uploaded a jpeg or some type of visual to help explain what you are doing you might get a good answer. |
