Hej,
i ve some questions regarding the speed of ANSYS WB Mesher. I just ve a Fluid Mesh of ca 200000Nodes and an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz as processor and 8GB Ram. So i know that CPU isnt the fastest around but still, it takes ca 5-10min to generate a Mesh which is pretty slow to my mind. Am i using the wrong options? My mesh is basically a 1° part of a 2 stage turbine rig, so it is a quasi 2D mesh. I sweep the faces and use inflation layers and some mesh face sizings where i need it. Regards |

Hi Peterputer,
I've got similar problem when meshing a geometry using the sweep method for CFX pseudo 2D axisymmetric problem. Is there any other solution to this problem? Could you suggest some other alternative meshers? Thanks; Peter |
