Hey,
I use ICEM CFD and my problem is a 3D simulation of a mill (see: geometry - mill). I know how to simulate it but I want to use the periodicity because the mill is rotationally symmetric?! Therefore, I have some questions. 1.) Is it possible to use the periodicity in my case? I donīt know where to set the periodic planes. 2.) Which settings do I have to use? I read something about the periodicity and blocking -> edit block -> periodic vertices but I donīt know how to use it rightly. Thank you very much for your answers. |

No, a screw is not periodic.
