Hello.

As I know GAMBIT is no longer developed. The last version is GAMBIT 2.4.
So what you can recommend as alternative program for the meshing? There are ANSYS Meshing and ICEM in the ANSYS package. Which of them is more developed and easy-to-use?

I'll be thankful for yours comments

I would recommend ICEM as it has very strong HEXA, prsim and tetra meshing methods. If you combine the ICEM with Tgrid then you do not need any other mesher at all.

On the other hand ANSYS meshing is easy to use and still passing from development phase. ANSYS meshing is built around the techniques from gambit, cfx mesh, ICEM and Tgrid. Its main emphasis is on the the more automatic use and uses the inflation along with tetra in the rest of domain. HEXA is really hard to create in ANSYS meshing.

AM has some advantages as compared to ICEM. That is the cutcell algorithm.
