Hi everyone
I've done in CATIA a parametric CAD, which is divided in 2 part (the parts are welded): 1 is fixed and the other part change through the parameters. I have to do a CFD optimization process, so i want that each time i change my configuration through the parameter in CATIA, when I load the file for the mesh, ANSA hold the old mesh for the fixed part but do a mesh only for the part that is changed, reducing mesh time. If the answer is complex, plese tell me wich part of the user manual I have to study. Thank you |

Hello Marien,
You can keep your old mesh if is on the geometry by freezeing it. Under Mesh deck in ANSA Macros->Freeze/Unfreeze. But this operation can be done only if the old mesh is not released from the surface. If this is not a helpful answer maybe you can detail your process and maybe I can help you with other advices if I understand better what you want to do, maybe some screenshots. Have fun. |
