Hello,
I want to insert some layers to my mesh model (wind turbine) and i'm having some problems regarding to specific parts of my model (Hub and Blades). Whenever i try to insert layers at these particular parts i get the error message "2nd order elements not supported" even though i did not use the 2nd order option when i had them meshed. I've also tried to remesh them but i'm still getting the same error. On other parts of my model i did not have any significant problems with layers. I would really appreciate it if anybody could help me on this. Thanks in advance |

It seems that you have meshed some Macros of the model accidentally with second order mesh.
In the latest ANSA versions you should go to UserScriptButtons(UDFs) at the top of the GUI and select TOOLS_GENERAL>ClearDataBase and select ConvertMeshToFirstOrder In earlier ANSA versions go to DECK>ELEMENTs>UTIL>ChangeOrder and select 2nd to 1st for All elements and press Apply Then you should be able to grow layers |
