Hello , I have a problem with morphing , do I need to morph tail trunk ( spoiler ) . I rebuilt the CONS in Curves, created around the trunk morphing box, but when I do move, mesh and model changes and curves remain in place , I tried to connect morpnig box to the curves trunk , but it does not follow the outline , do as stated in the tutorials " morph_cfd_external "? Used [box morphing] -> FIT-> to edges, or [EDGES] -> Tagency-> user, nothing helped . Help me do it . thank you in advance.

1 and 2 need connect to 3.

Dear Nikita

When you create Morphing boxes in ANSA bu default the shell
elements are loaded in the Boxes, so if you Move a control point
AND the Morphing flag is active in the Options List window at the
bottom right of ANSA, the shell mesh will be deformed, while the
Faces and Curves will NOT.

Now in the tutorial that you mention, the model is only FE-mod mesh
which means shell elements without any Geometry.

Your model is meshed Macros.

I suggest that you do the morphing without morphing the macros.
You can optimize your design based only on the shell mesh, ignore
the fact that you see the geometry staying at its original position.

You can in fact use the function Shell Mesh>Release to "disassociate"
the shell mesh from the geometry and delete the Faces afterwards.
You will then work on the FE-mod mesh, just as described in the tutorial.

Finally fitting the Morph edges on the model is not a necessary action.
Please refer to ANSA for CFD Brief user Guide for more details on this.

If you do decide to fit the edges to the model however, make sure that
Morphing flag button is OFF so that your Box movements do NOT change
the shape of the mesh.

Let me know if things are more clear now.
