IFP Session "LES for Internal Combustion Engine Flows" - 1 & 2 December 2008, IFP, Rueil-Malmaison (France)
The LES4ICE workshop aims at providing a forum of exchange concerning recent advances in research and usage of Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) applied to internal combustion engines (ICE) flow, injection and combustion. The ambition is to bring together engine designers and actors in the domain of LES research worldwide, and have them confront their views on the state of the art in LES applied to ICE as well as on the bottlenecks future research will have to tackle to open the way for a practical usage of LES in the piston engine design process.
