This webinar will highlight effective 3D blade design approaches to design high pressure ratio centrifugal compressors and ease of shock control to achieve high stage performance.
Short Abstract:
The aerodynamic performance of high pressure ratio centrifugal compressors with splitter blades is primarily affected by the presence of shocks at the leading edge of the main and splitter blades. This webinar will highlight how application of 3D Inverse Design and TURBOdesign Suite provides a more intuitive design environment for aerodynamic design engineers to control the formation of shocks in these transonic machines.
During this one hour, free session we will demonstrate how definition of spanwise and streamwise loadings can help designers gain superior control over the aerodynamic behaviour and performance of the impellers while maintaining the performance requirements.
The following design cases will be presented during this session, including live demonstrations using TURBOdesign 1:
The webinar will conclude on ease of application of 3D Inverse Design and TURBOdesign Suite for all types of centrifugal compressors, ease of transfer of design know-how between teams and projects and integration within well established design and optimization processes to reduce development times, costs and achieve superior stage performances.
In an attempt to accomodate your schedule we will be hosting a live webinar at both 9AM BST and 12PM EDT.
