FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS has released version 3.1 of its CFD integration platform CAESES / FRIENDSHIP-Framework.

New Features

Design viewer for convenient comparison of geometry variants and their corresponding CFD results. Check out this short video.
New and improved modeling tools for turbomachinery including a new meridional camber curve type (watch this video) for centrifugal impeller design, and updated stream section for axial machines.
Coupling and processing to external Adjoint CFD sensitivity solutions, for realizing high-fidelity parameterized shape changes as indicated by the Adjoint solutions.
Augmented CAD kernel that greatly expands import/export exchange formats, as well as facilitating powerful and easy-to-use trimming and filleting capabilities.
