Formula racing teams work in a fast-moving design environment, and using Direct CFD tools can translate into reduced lap times on the race track.

This Webinar will discuss how immersed boundary technology in KARALIT CFD together with advanced post-processing in Tecplot 360 EX revolutionized the CFD analysis of a Formula Renault Tatuus 2000 race-car (Courtesy of Tatuus Racing). You will learn how to automate, simplify, and speed up multiple full-car simulations of unique design points. We will illustrate the process by evaluating car designs of:

- Rear wing location - Interior engine-bay flow - Overall exterior aerodynamics

And finally, we will present the assessment of performance parameters including drag, lift, and detailed analysis of the main flow field.
