In this Webinar, GoCart was used to run Mach and alpha sweeps, and the results were used to calculate drag polars for an Airbus A320. Eighty analysis cases were run with Mach numbers ranging from 0.5 to 0.85 and alpha ranging from 3.5 to 6.0. To visualize such a large database of results, Tecplot Chorus was chosen as the optimal tool for quickly viewing the data generated.
Description:
This Webinar demonstrates the workflow of post-processing Desktop Aeronautics GoCart sweeps data using Tecplot Chorus.
GoCart is a high-fidelity inviscid aerodynamics tool that allows users to perform automated CFD analyses on arbitrarily complex geometry. The user can import CAD models, build a Cartesian volume mesh, run the flow solver, and view simulation results within minutes.
Tecplot Chorus helps you manage and analyze collections of CFD simulations. You can compare your results and evaluate overall system performance in a single post-processing environment.
