APEX, N.C., (September 25, 2007) – Computational Engineering International (CEI) announced today their next user group meeting, CEIViz '08, the second biennial international conference for high-performance simulation. CEIViz ’08 will be held at the Radisson Lord Plaza Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, September 23-25, 2008.
“CEIViz ‘08 is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to receive training, hear about the world’s most advanced applications, and network with the best international minds in engineering and scientific visualization,” says Anders Grimsrud, CEI’s president. “From novice to experts, CEIViz ‘08 will be the gathering place to learn and share information.”
The first two days of the event will include technical papers from leading experts in the field including CEI’s own developers, and the final day of the event will be dedicated to introductory and advanced training in both EnSight and Harpoon.
Paul Gilfrin, account manager from Sharc Ltd. said about the conference, “CEIViz ‘06 was a great networking and training opportunity for me. I learned a great deal about the advanced features of CEI’s products and was able to bring this knowledge back with me and apply it to my everyday work. I look forward to attending this simulation event again in 2008.”
CEIViz ‘08 invites eligible professionals working in the computer-aided engineering (CAE), medical imaging, and scientific visualization communities, or those considering these fields to participate. The event is not limited to existing users of CEI's products.
