Record Number of Open CFD Positions

The number of advertised open positions in the CFD Jobs Database at CFD Online today for the first time ever passed 300 jobs!

Over the last two years the number of open CFD positions advertised has increased dramatically. Of the more than 300 positions advertised today 180 are jobs in industry and 120 are jobs in academia (PhD positions, Post Doc positions, Professorships, ...).

This is the strongest up-turn in the CFD job-market that has ever occured. Reports from employers also confirm that they are having more and more difficult to find qualified candidates.

This is a good time to be a CFD engineer. Last time we saw a similar kind of up-turn it was soon followed by the IT crash and a very poor employment citation for several years. So enjoy it while it lasts!
