Cradle will offer three basic CFD seminars in Dayton, OH in mid-May 2014.
- SC/Tetra Basic Seminar (May 12-13, 2014): Learn the basic operations of Cradle's general purpose, unstructured grid CFD software. SC/Tetra is recognized for its robust preprocessor with integrated geometry repair tools, flexible and controllable hybrid grid generator, powerful physical models, a fast and memory efficient solver, and professional quality post-processing tools.
- Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) Seminar (May 14-15 2013): Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) problems occur when fluid/thermal flow and structural deformations depend on each other. In the past, simulation of these interactions have been largely ignored because of difficulties coupling the CFD and Structural FEA solutions together during solution convergence. Today, hardware and software advances have made FSI a reality. This two day course will provide foundational skills for setting up and solving FSI problems using Cradle SC/Tetra CFD Software and Abaqus.
- scSTREAM for Electronics (May 19-20, 2014): Learn to use structured grid, scSTREAM CFD software to solve thermal problems encountered in electronics product design . scSTREAM is powerful CFD software used by many of the world's best known electronics companies for electronics thermal analyses. It can directly import a variety of native CAD formats, quickly meshes large models containing hundreds of millions of cells, efficiently calculates the solution, and provides insightful energy flow visualization using HeaPathView.
