Cradle will offer one day Visual Basic Automation (March 20) and User Defined Function (March 21) Seminars in Dayton, OH.
The Visual Basic Automation (VBA) seminar is ideal for increasing design process productivity using Cradle's CFD software. This seminar will show how to use VBA with SC/Tetra, but the methods apply to scSTREAM and HeatDesigner. Cradle customers can use automation in the Windows environment to automate parametric changes to the model geometry and obtain the resultant solutions. When paired with Cradle's optional optimization software, the optimization process can also be automated.
The User Defined Functions seminar will show attendees how to extend the functionality of SC/Tetra. They will learn how to prepare dynamic link libraries for Windows using Visual Studio. Hands-on examples will help explain programming and compiling. The use of User Defined Functions for the Linux environment will also be covered.
