Webinar: December 5, 2013 Register: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/866758809
Evaluating multiple designs to determine the optimal configuration is part and parcel to modern engineering. In this Webinar you will learn how Tecplot Chorus and CFD++ can be leveraged to address operational difficulties caused by deposits inside pelletized furnaces.
After the conversion from liquid fuel to natural gas, combustion chambers can experience a significant increase in the deposit accretion rate due to over-deflected flames. We will describe how these deposits were reduced by using analytical methods supported by a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tool to develop a novel burner.
In this webinar we will discuss: - The computational strategies used with CFD++ - Evaluation of the design space with Tecplot Chorus - Results and conclusions from the studies
This is a joint webinar between Tecplot, Inc. (www.tecplot.com) and ATS4i (www.ats4i.com.br).
