November 2013/ -- Cradle is pleased to announce the release of EOopti Version 11. EOopti is the Cradle optimization engine that uses MOGA (Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm). As an extension option of SC/Tetra®, scSTREAM, or Heat Designer, EOopti helps determine the best solution for the design problem being investigated.
Some features of Version 11 include:
- A new random sampling method. This method enables a non-universal distribution of design parameter values compared to a universal distribution of the existing Latin Hypercube sampling.
- Introduction of EGO (Efficient Global Optimization) which greatly improves the accuracy of the response surface. EGO achieves better accuracy by adding sampling points where EI (Expected Improvement) or RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) indicator becomes the maximum
- Implementation of numerical type and discretized width
- New ranked display of individual pareto solutions
- New calculation of objective function
- New redraw function of response surface

Version 11 is available for download from the User support page as a content of SC/Tetra®, scSTREAM, or Heat Designer installer package. An optional license is required for the use of this extension option.
