Software Cradle will wrap up its 2013 Seminar schedule with three seminars in December 2013
scSTREAM Seminar on Building and Architectural Applications, December 11-12, 2013 in Dayton, OH
This course focuses on using Cradle scSTREAM general purpose, structured grid CFD software for building and architectural applications. scSTREAM offers unique capabilities for the building and architectural industries including direct importation of ArchiCAD and Revit design data, and the ability to accommodate models as large as 1 billion elements using the parallel, HPC (High Performance Computing) edition.
SC/Tetra Basic Seminar, December 16-17, 2013 in Dayton, OH
This seminar focuses on the basic operations of SC/Tetra, Cradle's flagship general purpose, unstructured grid CFD software. SC/Tetra is recognized for its robust preprocessor with integrated geometry repair tools, flexible and controllable hybrid grid generator, exceptionally fast meshing speed and robustness, powerful physical models, a fast and memory efficient solver, professional quality post-processing tools, and stand-alone viewer.
Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) Seminar, December 18-19, 2013 in Dayton, OH
Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) problems occur when fluid/thermal flow and structural deformations depend on each other. In the past, simulation of these interactions have been largely ignored because of difficulties coupling the CFD and Structural FEA solutions together during solution convergence. Today, hardware and software advances have made FSI a reality. This course will provide foundational skills for setting up and solving FSI problems using Cradle SC/Tetra CFD Software and Abaqus.
