Stamford, CT, For Immediate Release – Collaborative Product Development Associates (CPDA), a provider of critical analyses for PLM decisions, announces the availability of the agenda for its Developing a Design/Simulation Framework Workshop to be held at Georgia Tech’s Global Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia on May 15th, 2007.
Now in its third year, the Workshop brings together leading-edge users, industry practitioners, top academic researchers, industry analysts, and software developers with a common interest and desire to explore in-depth the latest thinking on the critical issues facing design and simulation.
Presentations include: a discussion on the impact of the human factors and organizational challenges that face simulation, the results from over twenty in-depth interviews that have been assembled in to a Scorecard on Simulation, lean design, knowledge capture and reuse, accessing knowledge for global simulation, applying a SysML approach to various domains, with examples from a top-tier automotive supplier, extending PDM Interoperability to CAD/CAE, and overviews of the simulation frameworks of several software developers including IBM, MSC.Software, and UGS.
