The new SU2 discussion forum on CFD Online was opened on January 5, 2013 and can be found here:

The launch of the new forum has been very successful. In the first 30 days the forum has got more than 230 messages posted, covering 50 different topics. The forum has become an important resource for SU2 users to discuss with fellow users. SU2 is a free open-source GPL based CFD code developed by the Aerospace Design Lab at Stanford University. SU2 is very focused on design and includes adjoint solvers and optimization tools. For downloads, documentation and more information please visit the SU2 site:

An important success factor for the forum is the very strong engagement by the SU2 developers at the Aerospace Design Lab at Stanford University. The developers have followed the forum closely and have often responded to questions by users. The SU2 developers are:
