PumpLinx® Version 3.2 Released

Simerics, Inc. is proud to announce the release of PumpLinx® Version 3.2.

PumpLinx® is a CFD simulation tool with unique capabilities for virtual testing of fluid pumps, motors, compressors, valves, and systems with rotating and/or sliding components. Starting with a 3-D CAD design, PumpLinx® enables the engineer to create a virtual test article and generate flow visualization and engineering output similar in accuracy to full scale hardware test at a fraction of the time and cost.

The newly released PumpLinx® v.3.2 has expanded capabilities including:

Core Capabilities: Heat, Flow, Turbulence; Aeration and Cavitation; Cavitation Damage Model; 1-DOF FSI (Linear and Rotational); Particle Tracking.

Pumps/Motors/Compressors Templates: Axial/ Centrifugal/ Mixed Flow; Piston: Bent Axis/ Radial / Swashplate; Crescent / Gerotor; External Gear (Spur); Vane: Balance / Fixed/ Variable Displacement; Progressive Cavity; Scroll.

Dynamic Valve Predictions: Spool / Ball / Axial / Circumferential.

Extensive 3-D System Modeling.
