REMINDER AND LAST CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear Automotive Community,

The early days of January are the right time to wish you a happy New Year for 2007 and to transmit all the best wishes from ANSYS, Inc. and its regional offices for you to have both business and professional success in your company or institution.

It is also a good time to renew our invitation to you to participate in the third European Automotive CFD Conference (EACC) which we are holding at the Congress Center of Frankfurt (Germany) on the 5th and 6th July 2007.

Since Fluent Inc. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANSYS, Inc. in May 2006, the EACC 2007 will be able to cover an extended range of applications and success stories. This call goes to the communities of FLUENT, ANSYS CFX and ANSYS ICEM CFD. The event will therefore bring together the expertise of all three groups, which will result in a great showcase for numerous leading-edge automotive CFD applications and achievements.

The success of the earlier EACC events predominantly traces back to the high quality papers submitted by CFD practitioners from all over the world. Again, the contributions will be published in a Printed Proceedings and released on a Conference CD.

This is a great opportunity to share your personal work and expose your company’s strengths on an international stage. You are invited to play a vital role in this conference by presenting a paper!

We are looking for submissions of papers on all aspects of automotive engineering and for all vehicles on roads, rails, racetrack or off-highway. A contribution should showcase the advances and benefits of using CFD simulations on their own or in combination with other methods.

All conference presenters will get free admittance (no registration fee)!

In addition there will be a substantial award of a prize for:

* The Best Overall Automotive CFD Presentation

Independent of a presentation, you may also submit a visualization to apply for another prize for:

* The Best Automotive CFD Animation
