The MicroCFD Virtual Wind Tunnel, Educational & Professional Edition, has recently been upgraded. The new version (1.8) supports Multi-Core CPUs and CUDA Core GPUs and runs significantly faster than the previous version. Here the results of a benchmark test on a system with an Intel Quad-Core CPU and an NVIDIA 96-Core GPU:

The Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA), developed by NVIDIA and implemented in their graphics cards since early 2007, allows the many processors on a GPU to be used for general purpose parallel computing. To find out if your NVIDIA GPU supports CUDA, please check the following list:
http://developer.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-gpus
Both Editions (Edu & Pro) of the MicroCFD Virtual Wind Tunnel run on CUDA 2.0 enabled GPUs but may need an NVIDIA driver update, if the CUDA cores are not automatically being recognized, in which case the GPU Processor choice on the Run menu will be disabled.
Whether or not you have run MicroCFD Virtual Wind Tunnel in the past, the new version (1.8) comes with another 7-day trial period. The download is free, and it is the full version. Both the installation program and the GPU driver update are provided at the following link:

Should you have any problems with the download, installation, trial license registration, or running of the MicroCFD Virtual Wind Tunnel, please contact me right away. In case you have any questions, comments or feedback, I always look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your attention.
