MELBOURNE, Fla., July 2 — Sabalcore Computing Inc., a leading high performance computing (HPC) service provider, today announced a partnership with Azore Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software.
"CFD is an important and fast growing area for engineering and design," said Sabalcore president John D. Van Workum. "We are very excited about the partnership. Together, Azore and Sabalcore will be able to provide our customers with a cost effective integrated CFD solution."
Azore Technologies develops, distributes, and supports applied engineering numerical analysis software. Their flagship product, Azore, is a powerful CFD tool that is used to analyze industrial situations involving fluid dynamic physics via CFD techniques. The software design of Azore allows it to be used in a multi-vendor environment providing tools to transfer simulation results between different software tools such as the ANSYS-Fluent CFD tools.
"Azore Technologies is excited about this opportunity for it customers. The hardware resources at Sabalcore will allow our customers to use Azore to solve bigger problems with faster turn around times," said Azore Technologies founder and president Jeff Franklin.
Sabalcore provides remote access to high performance computing resources on-demand. This enables engineers to take advantage of large parallel computing systems without the upfront investment in computer hardware, long-term utility and cooling costs, and maintenance. The service is accessible online from anywhere, anytime. This saves the customer time and reduces costs.
Customers will benefit from the partnership in five ways:
Access hardware and software for long-term production needs when parallel hardware are not available internally.
* Leverage on-demand computing resources for project to project work flow improvements.
* Access Azore with a flat licensing cost independent of the number of compute nodes that are used.
* Access the Azore GUI via Sabalcore's Remote Desktop feature for easy problem set up and post processing.
* Numerical technologies for second order accurate solutions to polyhedral mesh topologies in both two and three dimensional domains.
* Reduce costs by using Azore to solve mainstream CFD problems in conjunction with more expensive CFD solvers.
"For those new to HPC 'ease of everything' is the number one requirement," said John Van Workum. "Sabalcore not only provides easy and flexible high-end computing resources for scientists and engineers it also eliminates the lengthy learning curve and the hefty investments in high-end computing for customers across the board. With Azore CFD products already integrated into our service, the benefit for our customers is clear".
Users can access Azore for a test or trial using a 500 core-hour trial account through Sabalcore. Users can then access the service in a pay-as-you-go model for further development, or purchase monthly packages of core hours at discount pricing.
