CEI, a leader in simulation software for engineering and science, has won a reader’s choice award from HPCwire for best price/performance visualization product or technology.

CEI won the award for EnSight Lite, software introduced in May that delivers essential features of the company’s EnSight extreme visualization software at half the price. EnSight Lite is aimed at small- and medium-sized companies, large companies looking to maximize their visualization investment across the enterprise, and academic institutions.

The annual awards represent the collective opinion of the HPC community, including engineers, scientists and researchers worldwide.

“This award recognizes our efforts to make high-end visualization commonplace, transparent and pervasive,” says Kent Misegades, CEI’s president. “We are automating the process and pricing products so that almost any engineer, scientist or researcher can turn their computational research into beautiful and revealing 3D animations with little effort and few specialized skills.”
