The Call for Papers for the AIAA's 42nd Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit, to be held 05-08 January 2004 in Reno, Nevada, has been released. You may see it on-line at www.aiaa.org (see the Conferences and Workshops page). Abstracts are due by 02 May 2003 and should be submitted electronically via the web site listed above.
Of special interest to you may be the sessions sponsored by the Interactive Computer Graphics Technical Committee:
Papers are solicited on the design, development, and application of interactive computer graphics for aerospace sciences and engi- neering with emphasis on analysis, visualization, and information management.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Scientific, multidimensional, and transient visualization * Grid/mesh generation including anisotropic and moving meshes * Geometric modeling with empha- sis on CAD-CAE interoperability * Engineering animation * Post-processing engineering simulations * Feature and knowledge capture * Collaborative environments * User interfaces, internet techno- logy, and virtual reality
Authors are also encouraged to submit their manuscripts, either before or after the meeting, to the Journal of Aerospace Computing, Information, and Communication for publication.
