CPI Expert Dr Simon Lo of CD-adapco, to Present at CHISA 2006

CD-adapco’s Dr Simon Lo, an industry leading expert in CFD for the chemical and process industries, will be presenting at the 17th International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering CHISA 2006 to be held in Prague on 27–31 August 2006.

Bringing together worldwide experts to discuss Chemical Engineering for sustainable development, the conference goal is to formulate new targets, methods to meet these targets, and to communicate these to the Chemical Engineering community.

One of the areas at the forefront of this innovation in Chemical Engineering is CFD: simulation of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, chemical reactions, etc. Simon Lo from CD-adapco is a well-known expert in the application of CFD in the chemical and process industries, having a pivotal role in the development of multiphase modeling techniques for industry. Make sure you don't miss his presentation, “CFD modeling of particle suspension in a stirred vessel” in session E7 on Thursday August 31st.
