The 4th Open Source CFD International Conference 2010 took place in Munich, Germany on the 4th & 5th November. 140 attendees made this the largest conference yet, demonstrating the growing interest and success of those who are using, programming and deploying open source CFD solutions. The conference was very well received as a valuable, stimulating and enjoyable event, particularly for making contact with other industrial and academic attendees.
Keynotes from P&G, University of Massachusetts and Bruce Perens opened a two-day packed agenda with presentations from 14 different countries, providing attendees with the current best practices and state-of-the-art in Open Source CFD and associated technologies worldwide.
A conference dinner at the historic Augustinerkeller (a traditional Bavarian beer cellar) gave all attendees the chance to unwind.
The conference proceedings, image gallery and Technology Gallery are now available from http://www.opensourcecfd.com/conference2010.
ICON would like to thank all delegates, presenters, exhibitors and sponsors for helping to make the conference such a great success. In particular, the support of our principal sponsor Intel and other sponsors BETA CAE Systems, CFD Consultants, Dacolt and CEI, together with exhibitors Bull, DHCAE Tools and Clustervision, helped to make the Open Source CFD International Conference 2010 the best yet.
