London & New York. May 19, 2006: Don’t miss Dr Alan Mueller’s presentation on May 24, 2006 at the 19th annual international ABAQUS Users' Conference.
CD-adapco will be presenting and exhibiting at the 19th annual international ABAQUS Users' Conference, which will be held at the Charles Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts on 23-25 May 2006.
On May 24, CD-adapco's Dr Alan Mueller, a leading expert in FSI simulation will make a presentation entitled "The Challenges of Fluid-Structure Interaction from a CFD Perspective". The presentation will include several examples of Fluid-Structure Interaction, including STAR-CD and ABAQUS coupled through MPCCI and an overview of the Computational Continuum Mechanics (CCM) technology at the heart of STAR-CD and STAR-CCM+.
Dr Mueller is excited to be able to discuss the latest developments with a knowledgeable audience of ABAQUS users: "Several years of experience with FSI have identified key challenges which CD-adapco's unique strategies are aimed at resolving. The talk will summarize the state of the art and future development trends towards meshing strategies and advanced coupling techniques for a wide range of fluid-structures applications."
Dr Mueller will be at the CD-adapco throughout the whole conference, available to answer questions about FSI and CFD and to demonstrate CD-adapco's unique range of CAE solutions.
