VTK and Paraview Course at CILEA (Milan, Italy)

On 1-3 December 2010 a VTK&Paraview course for Scientific Visualization will be held at CILEA in Segrate (Milan, Italy). The course language will be Italian. The course slides will be written in English. Theory and hands-on session will be scheduled along the three days. The programming language used in the examples and on the exercise sessions will be Python. The course will focus on the implementation of efficient pipelines and filters for scientific data representation and visualization using the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) and Paraview (Kitware, Inc.) that are two well established standard in both the academic and the industrial environment. Printed and digital version of the course material will furnished.
