ICEM CFD Version 4.2 is Now Available!

Posted By: ICEM CFD Engineering
Date:Sat, 27 Apr 2002, 12:22 a.m.

ICEM CFD is a universal preprocessor for CFD and other CAE applications. It provides direct, parametric, plug-in modules with the major CAD systems (Catia V4 and V5, Ideas, Pro/Engineer, Solidworks and Unigraphics) and offers powerful built-in geometry healing and manipulation tools. The mesh generation modules in ICEM CFD are highly automatic and can be parametrically driven from the native CAD system. All traditional element types are supported including hexahedral, tetrahedral, pyramids and prismatic elements. Powerful merging technology enables the rapid creation of hybrid meshes. All of the mesh generation modules in ICEM CFD are highly tolerant of poor CAD data, and can successfully "walk over" imperfections such as holes, gaps, overlaps, sliver surfaces, etc. There are interfaces for over 100 analysis solvers and standard formats, including generalized formats such as CGNS. ICEM CFD also includes ICEM CFD Visual3 for post-processing of results and ICEM CFD OptiMesh for anisotropic, solution based mesh Adaptation.
