London, May 20, 2005 - CD-adapco, the leading provider of CAE flow simulation software and solutions, today announced their participation at Engine Expo. Engine Expo is the leading international exhibition for key suppliers of every aspect of engine design. The exhibition takes place between the 31st May and the 2nd June 2005 and will be Held at Stuttgart's International Exhibition Centre in Germany.
Come to Hall 6.0, Stand 6084 at Engine Expo to meet our team to find out more about STAR-CD, the world's leading engine simulation CFD code.
CD-adapco's Steve MacDonald is looking forward to the event: "Engine Expo is always a big event for us", he said. "Not only is it an opportunity to show off our latest developments in engine modelling, but it is also an opportunity to touch base with the customers and partners that keep us at the top of the CFD engine simulation market."
The latest release - STAR-CD v3.24, is packed full of new features aimed directly at the engine modeling community. STAR-CD's new extended Coherent Flame Model combustion models (ECFM and ECFM-3Z) overcomes the restrictions of traditional single mixture combustion models. The ECFM models are equally valid whether the charge is "pre-mixed", "partially-mixed" or "non-mixed" or any combination of these. The models are equally applicable to GDI engines (using a spark ignition model) and to HCCI and DI Diesel engines (using an auto-ignition model).
STAR-CD v3.24 is now available for download. For further information about STAR-CD v3.24 contact: info@cd-adapco.com
