CastNet modelling and meshing for OpenFOAM

DHCAE Tools has released CastNet, a modelling and meshing tool for OpenFOAM®. CastNet is based on CAD-preparation and advanced CFD-meshing technology of Simmetrix Inc. Based on this technology DHCAE Tools built an OpenFOAM modeling environment, allowing native OpenFOAM export and defining complete OpenFOAM cases for often used solvers. This includes GUI setups for solution, solver, flow properties, physical models and geometry associated definition of boundary conditions, initial conditions, face zones (e.g. baffle faces) or cell zones (e.g. porous regions). Additional case adapted scripts are exported with the mesh organizing the case setup, solution and preparation for post processing.
