SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, March 26, 2009. Flow Science, Inc. announces its 2009 FLOW-3D World Users Conference on September 17-18, 2009 at the Mayflower Park Hotel in downtown Seattle, Washington.
The conference is open to FLOW-3D users as well as scientists, engineers and other professionals interested in CFD modeling. Users from around the world and from a wide spectrum of industries and academia will present their studies, analyses, and results obtained using FLOW-3D, including benchmarks, case studies, validations and research projects. Flow Science developers will present their ongoing development plans and demonstrate the capabilities of FLOW-3D version 9.4 as well as conduct an open forum for user input. Conference presentations will be distributed to all attendees and will be available to those interested in FLOW-3D’s capabilities. To request CDs for past World, European or Asian users conferences, please email info@flow3d.com.
Advanced training for hydraulics and casting users will be held the day preceding the conference.
Call for Papers
Abstracts are now being accepted. Abstracts should be 500 words or less and should include a description of your application with FLOW-3D. They can be submitted by email to Amanda Ruggles at amanda@flow3d.com or faxed to (505) 982-5551. The due date for abstracts is Monday, June 1, 2009. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
Final presentations are due Friday, September 4, 2009. Presentation formats can be either a PowerPoint file or in any file format that can be opened in PowerPoint.�
