Summer School: From Images to Computational Hemodynamics, http://simula.no/research/scientific/cbc/events/2009/images_comp
Place and dates: Simula Research Laboratory, Norway, 8-10 June, 2009.
Registration before March 1, 2009 at http://forms.simula.no/registration_for_CBC_summer_school_2009
Abstract: Patient-specific modeling of blood vessel anatomy and hemodynamics is a promising tool that may aid clinicians in their decision-making and, as such, it is a current hot-topic in computational life-sciences. In this summer school we will focus on two tools, VMTK for creating patient-specific geometries and FEniCS for performing flow computations. Particular emphasis is put on hands-on sessions in which participants will learn to master the tools under guidance by their very creators.
Organizers: Luca Antiga, Anders Logg, and Kent-Andre Mardal
