Date:Fri, 5 Dec 2008, 11:44 a.m.

Dr.Yoshida at the Space Transportation Propulsion Research and Development Center for Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) outlines his work on the application of TURBOdesign-1 to improve the performance of compact impeller and diffuser of a Rocket Pump. Dr Yoshida says: “TURBOdesign-1 is an intelligent design tool, it gives us fresh insight into the fluid dynamics of the flow through the pump stage. It’s not only a convenient tool to shorten cost and development time, but also a thinking tool to help achieve the best design out of conventional wisdom.”

Discover how JAXA and other companies are using TURBOdesign-1 to achieve superior designs for pumps, compressors, turbines and fans while shortening design times.
