In-line with the aims and objectives of NAFEMS www.nafems.org as a whole, the NAFEMS CFD working group, cfd.nafems.org, aims to raise awareness of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) applications and techniques, promote standards for CFD, stimulate the adoption of best practices and deliver education and training. These activities are currently carried out through various mechanisms including the publication of guidance booklets, workbooks of examples, a journal of case studies and organising seminars.
'The purpose of this survey is to identify which topics are currently insufficiently covered but are of interest to those involved, either directly or indirectly, in CFD analysis activities. Also to identify the most useful format through which the material should be made available.
Whether you are a member of NAFEMS or not, a CFD analyst, a manager of an engineering analysis team, a user of CFD simulation results, or have an interest in fluid flow but do not currently use CFD techniques we would be grateful if you could spend a few minutes completing this short survey to help us ensure the material produced is relevant to the various intended audiences.
As an incentive the names of all participants will be entered into a draw for a €50 (fifty Euros) Amazon voucher and either a free place at a NAFEMS CFD seminar or a full set of all NAFEMS CFD publications to date
If you have further comments or wish to be involved in authoring material, organising or presenting at seminars please contact the CFD Working Group via the chairman at cfd@nafems.org, or David Quinn at the NAFEMS secretariat david.quinn@nafems.org.
Survey length: 10 pages, Approximate time to complete: 10 minutes.
