GDT Software Group is fast grown software designer, owned, develops and distributes the program products for CFD and visualization, announces today the release of new version of the GasDynamicsTool(R). The GasDynamicsTool(R) 5.0 computational package is intended for numerically simulating gasdynamic processes within a broad range of initial and boundary conditions. Jet flows, internal/external aerodynamics problems, ballistics, combustion and detonation are only but a few of the phenomena to be modeled with the help of this package. It can be used for an efficient design and has high compatibility with CAD/CAE systems. GDT 5.0 is the multiprocessor version. It gives increase of solvers productivity in 1.7 times. It has high processor utilization coefficient (1.96-1.98), allows to get integral speedup on dual-processing PC in 3.3 times. The GasDynamicsTool(R) 5.0 works under Windows NT, 2000, XP. Modules of preprocessor and solvers are supported under LINUX. The program effectively works with memory. One Gb RAM is enough for calculation domain allocation of 32 000 000 three-dimensional cells. It has highest operating speed per iteration. It uses an inexpensive base (PC required). A full description of the GasDynamicsTool(R) 5.0 can be found at: http://www.cfd.ru
