Acoustics Modelling 2004: a free seminar hosted by Fluent Europe and LMS
Tuesday 7th December 2004 at the Fluent Europe Offices, Sheffield, UK
Find out how CFD noise prediction can be used to your advantage in a wide range of applications in the following industries:
· Aerospace · Automotive · HVAC · Marine · Power
Don’t miss the chance to learn about the latest state-of-the-art simulation tools and the important data they bring to your design process.
For further information and to register for the event contact Bety Sherry on 0114 281 8888, email bety@fluent.co.uk. www.fluent.co.uk
Using cutting edge CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulation technology, we can help you to understand the principles of Computational Aero Acoustics. The seminar will allow you to discuss your design issues with Fluent and LMS technical staff and find out how CFD modelling can provide effective solutions. There will be a demonstration of the latest customised software for Acoustics Noise prediction, as well as case studies from previous projects. Different modelling approaches to noise prediction will be discussed and best practice CAA will be outlined.
Fluent’s Acoustics modelling services can be summarised as follows:
· Identifying noise sources for existing designs · Optimising design concepts to minimise/eliminate noise · Predicting noise sources for multiple design concepts to quickly and economically identify favoured design candidates
CFD modelling can relay analysis results in graphical format or via powerful 3D visualisations, providing invaluable data and insight into phenomena it is often not possible to gain using any other method.
We can either offer you consultancy services on a project by project basis or license you the software and partner with you, providing training and unlimited technical support, to develop your own in-house capability.
If you are a: · Technical Manager · CFD Engineer · Design Engineer · Acoustics Engineer · Or simply interested in acoustic simulation
This seminar offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest state of the art simulation tools and the important data they can bring to your design process.
