NAFEMS, the International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community, are holding their latest seminar in Warrington, UK, on April 22nd 2004, focusing on the Business Benefits of Engineering Simulation.

Simulation, typically by finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD), is well established in many engineering companies for product and process development. Tasks such as optimising products and manufacturing processes by simulation are now well proven.

Nevertheless, there remains a large number of companies who are either not getting the best return from their investment in simulation technology, or are still considering investing in the technology.

The seminar will include presentations on: • How you can increase market share • An overview of managing the design process • Guidance on the availability of grants and other funding options • A review of the history of finite element analysis • A number of case studies
